Certificate III in Children's Services (CHC30708)

Certificate III in Childrens Services is now the minimum requirement for those working in Childcare, Kindergartens, and in Family Day Care.
This qualification covers educators who use organisational policies, procedures and individual children's profiles to plan experiences and care for children, facilitating their play and learning and enabling them to further develop skills.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) RPL is a process where a student may be granted credit or partial credit towards a qualification in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, general life experience, and previous study. Participants are encouraged to discuss RPL application prior to commencement of training.
Government Funding Available Now is the ideal time to make a start on gaining new skills, or upgrading your existing skills to help you get the job you want. The Victorian Training Guarantee is making vocational education and training more accessible to people who do not hold a post-school qualification, or who want to gain a higher level qualification.
There are now an unlimited number of government subsidized training places available to people who meet the eligibility criteria.

Diploma of Children's Service (CHC50908) (Early childhood education and care)
This qualification is the minimum required at Coordinator/Director level in Long Day Care children's Services who have the responsibility for supervision of other staff and volunteers.
This qualification covers educators in childcare services who are responsible for planning and evaluating programs in early childhood services, in accordance with accreditation and duty of care requirements.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
