HLTAID001

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) This unit provides skills to administer basic life support and resuscitation. Public course run regularly across three Melbourne locations. Corporate onsite course – at a venue of your choice. We offer online pre learning.

HLTAID002

Provide Basic Emergency Life Support This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to recognise and respond to life-threatening emergencies in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. This unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide an emergency response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

HLTAID003

Provide First Aid This first aid course will teach you to recognise an emergency and give first aid to the injured or ill person until an ambulance arrives. Public course run regularly across Melbourne locations. Corporate onsite course – at a venue of your choice We offer online pre learning.

HLTAID004

Provide An Emergency First Aid Response In An Education And Care Setting This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults. The unit applies to educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.

HLTAID005

Provide First Aid In Remote Situations This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response and emergency life support to a casualty in a remote and/or isolated situation. The unit applies to workers who may be required to prepare for and provide a first aid response in locations beyond the reach of timely medical assistance.

HLTAID006

Provide Advanced First Aid This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide an advanced first aid response, including management of the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. The unit applies to workers who may be required to provide, coordinate and manage a first aid response across a range of complex situations, including community and workplace settings.

HLTAID007

Provide Advanced Resuscitation This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to use specialised equipment in the provision of resuscitation in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. This unit applies to workers who may be required to use specialised equipment to provide resuscitation in a range of complex situations, including community and workplace settings.

Provide First Aid In An ESI Environment This Competency Standard Unit covers the provision of first aid in an Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) environment. It includes the recognition and provision of an initial response where first aid is required in emergency situations by providing essential first aid using basic life support measures according to established workplace first aid policies and procedures.
