Chandni Mudhoo

WA Individual Support Trainer
Hey there! I’m Chandni Mudhoo, your instructor for the Individual Support course. Before we dive into all that, let me say – I’m a huge dog lover. My dogs are my best buddies. Born and raised on the sunny island of Mauritius, I bring a little island vibe into everything I do. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve said, “No worries, it’s just island time,” I’d be sipping cocktails on the beach right now. But instead, I’m here helping you become the best support worker you can be! Before teaching, I started as a community worker, developing a passion for helping those who need extra care, whether due to physical challenges, aging, or complex life situations. I also worked in the police force, where I learned quick thinking, compassion, and the importance of connecting with people from all walks of life. These experiences shaped my teaching approach and understanding of diverse individual needs. I wanted to pass on everything I’ve learned to a new generation of caregivers. Teaching is about inspiring empathy and respect. I pride myself on creating an open, welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable asking questions and sharing ideas. My goal is to make learning engaging and enjoyable!
